Hi! I am Gina Howe and I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Certified Personal Trainer. I have a passion for fitness, nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle. While I have been pretty fit my whole life, beginning with dance and moving into weight training, when I came to truly grasp the benefits of being healthy and strong, I had to share my passion with others.
Previously, I held store management positions with a variety of companies. Through these positions, I gained a wealth of experience working with people.....not only through customer service, but in dealing with employees. The daily coaching and mentoring of associates ingrained in me a deep love of helping others attain their goals.
So, how can I marry the two, my love of fitness and my love of coaching?
Personal Training for me was the right path. I have enjoyed working with clients who all come from different starting points in terms of fitness. I have experience with; athletes looking to stay on top of their skills during the off-season, weight loss clients, senior clients, rehabilitation clients, pre and post natal clients, kids (sport skills and weight management), as well as, just people looking to live healthier more fit lives.
In addition to one-on-one personal training, I teach small-group fitness classes, body weight boot-camp groups, and kids fun fitness classes. I am also a National Council of Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT) Certified Yoga Instructor.
As I have progressed through my own journey with helping others, I realized that through nutrition counseling, I could make an even bigger impact in my client's lives. So, I continued my education, adding Weight Loss Specialist, Behavior Change Specialist and Fitness Nutrition Specialist to my list of certifications. These specialization ensure that I can assist clients with the many aspects of living a healthy life.

My true passion in life is helping people like myself learn to live healthier lifestyles so they can feel better, look better, and have more confidence in themselves. Why? Because I know from experience what it's like on the other side.
See, I'm a member of the proverbial 100 pound club meaning I was once over 100 pounds heavier than I am today. My self-esteem was nonexistent and my asthma was out of control. I was miserable and there was a point that I felt I would never get my life back again. I will never, ever forget how it felt and I made a promise to myself to never let that happen again.
I'd like to say I did everything right but I can't. Sure I did a few things right but others, not so much. But I did learn from my mistakes and picked up many great habits along the way. Ones I plan on and will stick with for the rest of my life. See, that's really the key. Getting rid of old, unhealthy habits and replacing them with new ones that not only help you stay healthy, but ones that you enjoy having in your life. It's pretty easy to lose weight in the short term. The problem is keeping it off permanently. That's where I can help you. I can work with you one-on-one to come up with a game plan that will get you those permanent results.
