I am what you would call a long distance client. I live in Illinois about 5 ½ hours away from Core Essentials Fitness. I have spent years at the gym, boot camp class, running, and have done many exercise tapes. Hiring Brian Howe to create workouts for me is by far the best thing I have ever done. I was amazed at how great a balanced over all workout could be. With the long distance I have found Brian extremely helpful with videos, pictures, and explaining the exercises. I started working with Gina and Brian at Core Essentials during their Kickstart 2014 program. During the course of that challenge I lost 11 lbs. The kickstart helped me develop good eating and exercise habits which helped me lose another 5 lbs after the challenge was over and I have been able to maintain this loss all year. Hi friends! I am training with Gina now. I am a long distance runner and I thought I was in shape because I could go out and run 20 miles on any given day. Not so! When I started working out with Gina, I quickly learned that I had lots of leg strength but not much else. Came to them from a referral at work. I meet in the mornings three days a week, hour sessions. I came in the mindset of losing weight while adding muscle. I have spent many years in the gym in my past. Brian & Gina are very knowledgeable about both fitness & a healthy diet. I have seen great result in the three to four months. Mind you only 3 per week at the gym. Can't say enough how this has made me feel.

In my line of work I am put up against incredible environmental challenges that force me to use my body in ways most would never imagine. When I started training at Core Essentials with Brian Howe I told him that the goal was to mold me into a human action figure, in both strength and endurance, no matter how grueling or difficult the process. I wanted to feel pain during and after every workout and I told him that if I wasn't...then I wasn't working hard enough and his job was to push me to my limits. He clearly understood my ambitions and I am excited to say that after every session I felt a positive pain that was one step closer to my goal. Gina Howe has been my trainer since November. She's wonderful! I've lost about 5% of my body weight and gained strength and flexibility. She encourages you to push yourself and do the exercises the RIGHT way which makes a huge difference. If you are looking for a trainer, I highly recommend her!
I LOVE the workouts that Brian creates for me! It pushes me, works my entire body and I see results.
